More Patient Comfort with the Best
Results
For
best results in dental treatments, a dry “field” is
necessary. Isolite™ is the latest technology that will keep
the mouth dry. It is a device that produces a bright light
to let the dentist clearly see the entire oral cavity
without any shadows. It also is a suction device, which
eliminates the use of a bulky rubber dam, making it more
comfortable for a patient and allowing about one-third less
time in treatment.

Mouth sores could be the symptom of a disease or disorder; infection from bacteria, viruses or fungus or result from irritation caused by braces, dentures or the sharp edge of a broken tooth or filling. Relief from Headaches and Jaw Pain!
Perhaps your doctor has told you that your frequent
headaches, popping or aching jaws, or neck and shoulder pain

in a variety of pain. When your jaw is re-aligned to the
proper position, all the discomfort you may have become
accustomed to will be relieved. If you have any of these
painful symptoms, please come into our office so we may
explain the technical procedure of a full mouth
rehabilitation. It provides benefits that will give a new

If your mouth or jaw hurt, it could be from a toothache. Toothaches usually indicate a cavity but they can also signal gum disease. In some cases, a toothache is a sign of an abscess or impacted tooth. A toothache should be evaluated by a dentist right away to determine the cause of the problem and prevent the tooth from dying.

Care for our Seniors
As we age, our bodies change and so do our teeth and gums.
Teeth become a darker shade from use of tobacco or
consumption of coffee and tea. Plaque will eventually lead
to gum disease or root decay that can lead to loss of teeth
if not taken care of in the early stages. If medications are
taken, sometimes the flow of saliva will be reduced.
Fillings may crack and let decay seep into teeth. We have
products and procedures to prevent damage to or loss of
teeth. Together with your good daily hygiene and nutrition
and regular check-ups, your teeth can look good and last a
lifetime.
It is important to note if your gums become red or start to
bleed or feel loose, to please contact us immediately.

Many things can cause these symptoms, which can make it difficult to diagnose. Possible causes include sinus problems, toothache, arthritis, injury, teeth grinding, gingivitis or problems with your jaw like TMJ. Your dentist will conduct a thorough exam, which may include X-rays, to determine the source of the pain.

Hygiene
Visits for Overall Good Health
Having your teeth cleaned by a professional hygienist will
remove any build-up of plaque and tartar in areas that are
difficult to clean with regular brushing. It is necessary to
have any tartar below the gumline removed before it becomes
a serious problem that leads to the loss of one or many
teeth. Untreated gum disease can increase the risk of or
even worsen serious health conditions like heart disease,
diabetes, and stroke. We encourage all of our patients to
have their teeth cleaned on a regular basis for good health.
Root Canal Therapy
Root canals are performed to save a tooth from being
extracted. Once a tooth has been damaged or has infected
roots, a basic filling will not restore the tooth. The
procedure to fix the tooth is to remove its pulp chamber and
pack in its place a special filling material. Sometimes a
crown will be placed over the tooth to give additional
strength and support for chewing.
In the past, a tooth was extracted when it had infected or
damaged roots. When root canals were first being performed,
they were quite painful, and patients avoided restoration of
a tooth if it needed a root canal. With today’s advanced
technologies and anesthesia, root canals are mostly
painless.
